the first thing that struck me about this is the underlying fear, that hint of subtle uneasiness throughout this story. i think this is fantastic; i love the backstory you have given them. how their history intertwined until you can't have one without the other. how heartbreaking this whole thing is.

just brilliant. thank you so much for writing them and i look forward to the next part. :)

man, i was so against writing AU- i mean i can barely write them as they are, adding alternative universes to the mix just seemed too much. but i'm glad you liked it. i'll try to make the next chapter decent enough. i am terrible at continuing things. *le sigh*

I don't feel that this is bad at all. It's gritty and feels real, and changed appropriately from a childish style to an appropriate frightened style that doesn't know the world but for one thing.
