Love, this was absolutely stunning. I nearly held my breath throughout the entire thing. Every word was so purposefully placed and packed such a punch. I loved the acute insight we got into their past, their dynamic and contrasting characteristics, despite how concise this was. I feel as though this fandom tends to be heavy on the prose while lacking the more imaginative and fanciful styles of writing, so it was such a treat to stumble across this.
