- the adjective 'novel' is over-used in scientific literature (when people don't want to say 'new'), but I do enjoy the word in that context. 'Book' seems fine, to me, for you situation, possibly with the addition of an odd yet descriptive modifier before it. Just don't use 'novella'... bleh.

On the inside flap (writer's bio, there's a name for that right? I can't think of what it is though, anyyyyyway), your bio picture could be of you eating nutella and writing a novella...just because it sort of rhymes.
Anyway, I'll certainly see you at least once over the break on our friends thanksgiving. I'll be home Thursday through Sunday...not an incredible amount of time but long enough.
And, I can top your 23 with my 24 upon graduating. Some of our friends may possibly even be married by then, but whatev, just like you said, there is nothing that can be done about it so you might as well just embrace it!
