Where Adam wishes all stuff in his room had wheels.

So, leading up to the Lunar New Year I've been cleaning up my room, and vacuuming it and dusting it. I must say that it is now vastly easier with my wooden floor than carpet is. Although I still wish more of my drawers and shelves and stuff were on wheels. I am also somewhat horrified at the amount of dust I managed to sweep/vacuum up.

No, no, I'm still living at home with my parents for now. Kathy's moved out into our house, though.

Oh, okay. Did you guys tear out the carpet or something? I'm confused. Haha.

Heheh. We've actually gone through and, room by room, replaced all the carpet with wooden flooring. I can't recall whether we had any wood floor when you were over here.

Kathy moved out, and her room was re-floored and repainted. Then I moved into it because it was larger than mine. Then mine was re-floored and repainted, and Bradley moved into my old room. And now Bradley's room is currently just a "spare" room with lots of junk in it.

I've noticed that my [current] room seems to get a lot hotter in summer than my old one, which is something Kathy complained about. I think the window isn't sealed properly, or something. I also get more insects in my room, too. It's good overall, though. I like the extra space. (c:

Well, seriously, what would you choose if he hadn't given dispensation? Fasting, or DELICIOUS NEW YEAR GOODIES?

In other news, I had a dream that I missed the first chinese class of the new year, and you wrote me a very stern email.

Fasting, or DELICIOUS NEW YEAR GOODIES?

Well, when you put it like that... (c:

Heh, but I think it would've depended on what my parents were doing, basically. I doubt I would've had a New Year Eve dinner by myself.

missed the first chinese class .. and you wrote me a very stern email.

Oh come now, you know I don't write stern emails. (c: But that reminds me, are you actually doing Chinese this year/semester? I couldn't remember if you'd said you had Other Stuff you needed doing this year, or couldn't make Saturdays, or something.

I'm doing just the one unit, 09.30-11.30. Unfortunately doing the second unit would mean I would have to miss archery.

Ahh, I see.

Mmm.. Well, as it turns out, I won't be able to make the first class (for either unit) on Saturday because I'm going to be awaay over the weekend. Can you pretty please tell whoever the teacher is that I'll be there the week after? (c:
