第一：I tried cooking something, without assistance, for the first time.. umm.. ever, today. Okay, I guess I can do omelettes and a few other things, but in general, I haven't really ever tried cooking anything for consumption by people apart from myself, at least not without significant assistance, or in fact just being an assistant to someone else

I am disproportionately happy that I can read two of the three chinese characters in your post (not counting the music), given that they are hands down the easiest two in the entire language :)

Recipe of sorts. The things I chose to add were: red and green capsicum, mushroom, broccoli, onion. And then I ran out of space.

And, "飞船" is "airship/spaceship", (飞 - to fly, 船 - a boat, vessel, ship). So there, now you know another two characters. Oh, and 第 indicates ordinal numbers. So that's three new characters. (c:

Unfortunately I have trouble remembering characters with more than two or three strokes, this caused me much trouble back when I tried learning mandarin and is why I chose german over japanese at school :D
