In memoriam
My grandfather passed away yesterday. He'd been in bad shape and receiving home hospice care for a while, so it wasn't really a shock; we knew it was coming sooner or later. But it still hurts to have him gone. -
Kitty Safety 101
I'd gotten a collar and tag for Pringles, the cat at the sheriff's office where I work, and today I put them on her. She likes to roam around outside our perimeter sometimes, and I didn't want anyone thinking she was a stray. Samhain: Year One, Day Four
OK, so this is the first year when I (and hopefully anyone who's still reading this journal) will celebrate the full Samhain, The Festival Of Darkness as I have envisioned it.
