Almost done with the 400+ mammoth of a book, "Accidental Genius." It's a pretty wordy biography about John Cassavettes, whom I love, but hate having to take notes on. I guess I could read it later for pleasure, but I know I wont.

Good news: Noel took me to see "Team America" on election day and it has to be one of my favorite movies ever at this point. He and I only speak in quotes from that film now.
Bad news: Election day and everything else for the next four years, and whoever long after that relations and lives are permanently damaged. -

Chicago's getting all cold again. I'm going to sound like a waspy New Englander but I miss having "real" seasons. the weather there is fickle but it's a nice segue from summer into the more brutal winter weather. and for the record, last winter was the worst i've ever experienced. not that Cape Cod would have been much more pleasant but i tend to ( Read more... )
