That great Seattle website Monkeygoggles is running my piece "The Last Time I Met Kurt Cobain," which, as some of you may recall, originally appeared right here at Showbiz Central.

If you've never read it, I would recommend you take a gander.

Still dining out on this one?

Do you know that my Mum once went out with Paul McCartney, yeh and my Dad knocked Ringo out at the Cavern in '63.

Nirvana and Cobain.. the most over-rated thing ever.

Youz know me.

i'm still a fan of nirvana and i'm not ashamed to admit it.
shit, i still wear their shirt every now and then and i'm in my 30s!
you'd be amazed at how many (young) koreans recognize nirvana when they see my shirt.

like a true legend, cobain lived fast and died young.

Colorbox on a Tues..HA! anonymous April 23 2010, 02:26:28 UTC
That was me in '92..and both my hair and our set WERE way too long. And the Off Ramp, with the "hash after the bash" breakfast. Damn. I'm sure we crossed paths back then, too. Now one show at Vinyl draws more than all the Seattle gigs combined!

Anyway, nice piece. I also met/miss Kurt.

OH man.... i read this before, but it's still awesome. :)

It makes me want to write out my story of almost going on tour with Pearl Jam when I met them in Paris, around that same time...
