I dug out my "founding fan" T-shirt from 2000 to wear to the game. Twas at the bottom of the pile. I was completely calm all day yesterday until I got out of my car near Key Arena at 5 p.m. That was when Jill called me to say Bill had to stay home with the newborn, and I could sit by her behind the Storm bench if I gave her a ride home.

AWWW YEAH!!!! 2004 WNBA Champions!! I'm dedicating the last part of my show to the storm, I already posted on the board, that anyone is more than willing to call in cause I'd their perspective on last night's amazing victory! I'm so mad I missed watching the game, I had other things come up.. and yeah studying for my midterm, which I just got out of and now I'm on cloud nine woohoo!!

I love this team, and Betty Lennox deserved that MVP Award, she rocks!

I'm sorry, but I'm really not getting why this pisses you off. They're asking about you and the Storm, why does that anger you? It's awesome that it's generating buzz, and for once we (founding fans) don't have to initiate the conversation.

Is it because they don't know that you've been to every game? Is it because they haven't? I dunno, seems a little unrealistic to me...

It's the people who I've told before that I've only missed to games in five years, have been a season ticket holder, etc. ie they should know better than to ask if I'm going. But I agree - the buzz - and more importanty the respect - generated is inspiring and wonderful.
