Rating: NC-17 (whole series)
Pairing: Chenzel
Summary: Kristin tells the story of her and Idina's relationship.
Anna was looking down at Kristin, her eyes wide and a smile playing on her lips. “That’s like the kind of rubbish you read from those trashy romance novels,” she said. “Hey!” Kristin said sitting up, holding the sheet to her chest. “No, it’s sweet,” Anna laughed and pulling her back down to the bed, throwing a leg over Kristin’s to keep her in place, “Tell me more.”
“There’s no more to tell. That’s how our relationship started.”
“Yeah but, there’s so much more than that. What about her husband? What got you to this point where you don’t talk?”
Kristin scoffed at her, mouth open in surprise, “You’d think you were some fan girl thriving off scandal.”
“I’m just curious,” Anna said lying down next to Kristin and giving her the best puppy dog look.
“It only gets depressing from here,” Kristin sighed, rubbing Anna’s forearm. The other woman merely looked at her, waiting for her to continue.
“Well, the whole Taye factor was problem from the beginning.”

“We should talk,” Kristin whispered as her lips reconnected with Idina’s. “Mmhm,” Idina murmured against her lips, “talk.” It was hard for Kristin to think clearly with Idina’s tongue probing her hot mouth, but she pulled away anyways.
“No, really,” Kristin said holding Idina’s face at bay, “please.”
“What do you want to talk about?” the taller woman said turning her face into Kristin’s palm and kissing it. She just sighed and grasped Idina’s left hand, holding it in front of her face so that her engagement ring caught the light. Her face flushed and she pulled her hand back down and subconsciously pulled her long sleeved shirt over her hand.
“I told you I was willing to call it off.”
“Idina. I could never ask you to do that.”
“You’re not asking me. I’m offering it.”
“You can’t leave your fiancée based on a crush.”
“It’s not a crush, Kris,” Idina said quietly, brushing blonde hair from her eyes, “I l-…I really care about you. You have…you have no idea.”
Kristin searched Idina’s eyes for a hint of doubt or insecurity but saw none. Instead what she saw was a sincerity that scared her and she could feel her legs itching to flee like they had every other time she found herself in these situations. Idina wasn’t lying to her. Idina was completely willing to leave Taye behind for her.
She ran her fingers over Idina’s lips and sighed. She had waited so long for this. She spent more time than she would admit dreaming that this would happen some day and it was hard for her to believe that this wasn’t another one of her fantasies.
“Kris, please,” Idina said taking the blondes hand from her face and entwining their fingers, “give this a chance.” Kristin wrapped her arms tightly around Idina’s waist and pressed her cheek to her chest. Idina held her tightly and kissed the top of her head. “Thank you,” she whispered into blonde hair, “thank you.”

“So, did Idina call off the engagement then?” Anna asked, completely emerged in the story. Kristin shook her head, “No. I told her not to until we knew if we would even work.”
Anna raised an eyebrow at her and Kristin blushed. “I know, I know. I told her to cheat. I’ve already felt an extreme amount of guilt for that. Okay?”
“Okay.”
“Really!”
“I know, love,” Anna said kissing her lightly, “Now. Finish your story.”
“Fine. So. Things were going really well for the rest of the weekend. And then Michelle got involved.”
