My grandmother swears up and down that she met William Devane in front of Payless a few days ago. He apprently told her that she shouldn't be in the heat. I am sure that the only person to actually know who William Devane is will be Montgomery but it is still an amusing story.

I actually had to look him up on imdb before I remembered what I'd seen him in.

Maybe he needed some shoes. Why he'd need shoes in Yucca Valley is another matter entirely.

I've never seen 24 so I wouldn't know. I do know that he was on the West wing for a while.
