School is sooooo dull. I can't wait til I'm done with all this shit. I just want to get a job and work on a career already. Plus the discussions in my torts class are usually unbearable since everyone always brings up such asinine scenarios. Just STFU and let the prof lecture so we can get the hell out of here PLEASE, you are not helping ( Read more... )

It sounds like you're suffering a little bit of school burnout, actually - I remember those days very well. ^_^;; How much longer do you have before you graduate?

As to your ex...well...some guys are really flaky. It sounds like he lacks confidence overall, and, having been in a somewhat similar situation throughout my life, I would only point out that usually there's a reason for that lack of confidence. That being said, I know nothing about him. Maybe he's just a flake. :-P Kinda hard to tell sometimes. Just keep doing what's right for you.

Ugh yes I am HELLA burnout. I've found myself ditching a lot of class and kind of just hating life in general. *Shakes fist at school* I've only got a year or so of schooling left though, I'm SOOOOO close!! Yet, I feel like I am slowly losing my mind. Oh well.

And yeah, idk I guess he has anxiety issues. Plus he doesn't stick up for himself which I HATE, I think I'm just gonna stop making plans to hangout with him since he's already flaked on me so many times lol.

Yup, that's burnout for sure - I did the same things in my last semesters of college. But like you just said, you're so close! Hang in there, keep pushing forward, and don't let your mind run off without you. ;-) Maybe make next semester a bit of a light semester - take a few more electives than necessary classes, things more fun or interesting to you, give yourself a little breather. It might help! :-D

lol, I can't blame you for not wanting to hang out with him anymore, since he's done that to you already. As for the anxiety and not sticking up for himself - well, those two things frequently go hand-in-hand (myself being a prime example), so in that regard, think about cutting him a little slack. Life can be tough for a person who suffers from anxiety, and it sounds like he has an overall lack of confidence as well - he might could use a friend. Just some things to think on, mind - a different perspective, if you will. :-)

Nah I'm just really fed up with learning lol. PLUS I took forever to decide what I wanted to major in so I'm about to go over my credits (or something like that) so I can't just take random classes. I was thinking that I would just work full-time this summer and then after seeing how shitty it is to work a minimum wage job I will be filled with tons of college spirit! (Hopefully anyways.)

Yeah I guess I should cut him some slack...but if he flakes on me ONE more time I might just stab him in the face. Idk.
