wow...that was.....uplifting.

Except I disagree with you on one key point -
You said a few times that everything from the last 12 years of school is going to disappear as if it were never there. This isn't true at all. The memories will fade, but it will always be there. You would not be who you are today if it weren't for the last 12 years of school. Even if you had gone to a different school in a different town or state or gone to a private school, you would be very different from who you are. Yeah, so you all may be going separate ways and you may lose touch with many of your friends, but you will never forget them. 10, 20, 30 years from now, you will still be able ot remember the names of your closest friends from high school, your first girlfriend, your favorite teacher. The last 12 years have had a HUGE and lasting impact on you and that will never disappear as if it were never there.

You may be moving on, but you are not leaving behind 12 years of memories and experiences.

but what i mean is that its not going to be there anymore its not like if we dont like how things are outside of high school life we can go back because everyone else has moved on...and the person who we were for those twelve years will be gone too, but i wasnt going for technical truths just thinking "aloud" so to speak

but again, you said that the person you were will be gone. I disagree. You still are that person, you're just going to be that person somewhere else.
