Haven't seen Kick-Ass, was only peripherally aware of it (at best) and here I am! Giddy with love ^.^
Can't say anything about characterization BUT you made me giggle a couple of times (hitting below the belt *snort* sorry I blew up your dad with a bazooka, but he was an asshole anyway! *snicker*)
Then the whole bit about Kick Ass ratcheting up the comfort in bemusement was kind of adorable XD
Also, I loved their awkward Whedon-centric conversation in their real lives, I like how Chris started it - all fumbling and kind of sad - and how Dave just went with it. It set up the alley scene very well and paved the way for tasty-tasty slash!
So yay for you! More please?
Or, you know, more Zombieland ^.^

The Buffy thing was actually snagged from the comics. Dave says he's "numero uno Buffy maniac" xD I'm not very good at reconciling between comic and movie verses, but I couldn't resist that.
You neeeeed to see the movie. Because if you were to get into the Kick Ass fandom then my existence would truly be complete.
I'm soooo glad you liked it, and there's definitely more to come!
More Zombieland too ;D

Sososososo glad you enjoyed it. :D There is no easy and happy ending with these two for me. I can have one or the other, but both is just too selfish :P

Because I thorougly enjoyed this fic! Your dialogue flows like water, and I loved your Dave, the maturity and seriousness you've given him corresponding to the things he's been through. They are both so very human and three-dimensional.
And I loved the unspoken quality to it, all that stands between the words, in the spaces of the text.
Also, I have to disagree with dave, I kinda like it when they cry... *feels bad*
