Last Wednesday I got tickets to see Legally Blond. I took B along with me because we had no idea what the show was about. I especially went in with very little expectations. I'm glad to hear you liked Legally Blond, since it's coming up in our Broadway series! I'm surprised you never saw the movie with Reece Witherspoon though...

How fun to go to China! Beijing has the Great Wall nearby, the summer palace, the imperial palace, Temple of heaven, Tiannemon Square, etc. Hong Kong has ferries, Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Disneyland (LOL - actually I'd skip that), tons of shopping, and of course, you must go to the racetrack!

Oh yes, I've seen the movie but had no idea how that would translate into a musical. Was delightfully surprised. The UPS guy was hilarious.

Have you been to China? Why the racetrack in HK?

Never been to China, but the racetrack is known around the world, and is something that all the people are really into. Gambling is a huge deal with the Chinese, and the race track is a symbol of that. It's like going to Macau and not going into any of the casinos! I'll bet if you google things to see in hong kong, that the race track is in the top 10 of every list...
