So I can honestly say I know what you mean. Dominick moved up to Maine in July. You're right, it hurts. And hurts and hurts and hurts. I can't tell you the range of emotions I felt when he left. Envy, rage, loneliness, sorrow, doubt, and then guilt for feeling all of these things when I should be happy that he's going to college to better himself. Him leaving felt almost like a breakup because my heart felt torn, but there was still the comfort of knowing that he loves me no matter what. I think that's what saved me from throwing myself off a roof
