well, like i said, i don't hate them, i just don't see what the big deal is.

i absolutely love a few songs, like "burn" and "reinventing axl rose"
for some reason tho, most of their stuff just doesn't do it for me.

While I certainly think the Cure trumps a few of the bands in the top 15 (and neither Against Me! or the Dropkick Murphys are particularly hateable), I think that might be going just a little too far.

I'm mainly just a fan of the singles, I think most of their albums are boring and drab. Get Staring at the Sea, it's all you really need.

GG Allin has easily produced the worst music ever recorded.

and even though i admire a man who shits on stage, eats own shit, throws shit at audience, punches/kicks audience, exposes penis to audience, hits self with microphone, gives band members oral gratification..

couldn't the music be the least bit redeeming?

You know, I think the stuff he did with the Jabbers was actually pretty good. Effete-sounding proto-pop-punk with funny, gross lyrics.

The later Scumfucs-era stuff was real boring, though.

also, "hated" is a great fucking movie. i'm more fascinated with him than i am a fan of his music. again, bad choice on my part putting him in the top 15.
