So I was selected as an alternate for this prestigious fellowship at school. Better than a kick in the head, I guess. As long as I keep my internship, or find a new one for the summer, they'll consider me a Fellow. But, of course, the whole point of the fellowship is to place them in these internships, which are hard as hell to find. So

Meh, the alternate thing should be fine. Just a little disappointing. I suppose it's not surprising -- low GPA, in a bunch of things I should have slam-dunked. I slacked off and didn't take it seriously. I mean, b-school is a 2-year vacation. Jumping through the hoops is really not my style.
