Today was a good day.  I do need to work on getting up earlier, however, but anyway…

I came close to changing my plane ticket today, to come home early.  Why?  Stress over things I cannot change, anxiousness to get moved and get to work and start my new life.

thursday i was not a total lazy butt. i went back to le marais to go to the georges pompidou museum of modern art, however it was raining pretty bad and i didn't want to wait in line in the rain, so i went to a department store to look at cosmetics. i found a cool, non-emo, european "messenger"-type bag on sale--purses are just not practical here ( Read more... )

thursday, i didn't do much during the day. elisabeth was not feeling well, so i ran errands for her and kept her company, did the dishes, etc.  that nite, however, was vraiment merveilleux!  houari (elisabeth's husband) took elisabeth and i out on the town!  we went to montparnasse, a more posh area of paris--very beautiful, very exciting!  we ( Read more... )
