The internet has failed me

I've had a song going through my head on and off for the last few days, but I can only remember a portion of it, and I thought I'd look on the internet and find the rest of it.  The problem is, it's not on the internet.

How is that even possible?

Granted, this is a song that some friends of mine and I found and memorized roughly half of my lifetime

Crap, if The Man expunged it from the internets, I'm probably in grave danger of bringing myself to attention of The Man by posting the couple of verses I sort of remember.

Uhm...I better go home and destroy all of the evidence of my, shall we say "scrapbooking" before they search my apartment.
