It's been a month and some days into the school year, and I'm already eager for the holiday. On the bright side, Megan's marginally better at Transfigurations than I thought she'd be - which is a relief considering everything else.

As for the everything else: Lavender Brown, I don't care how bad you are at Arithmancy (as if the fact that you said ( Read more... )

NONO DON'T END THE SESSIONS. But seriously, I will not rest until I have seen you with your shirt off. I am determined. And you know what they say about Determined Gryffindors.

...And it was definitely an accident. Big time accident. I uh, dropped my pen, and you know, I just brushed against it and YEAH. ACCIDENT.

I don't. And I'm pretty sure I don't want to know.

You dropped it while it was still on the desk?

Just assume that it means I will eventually get my way.

...Um. My OTHER pen.

I don't see it happening short of you doing something illegal.

Sure. One of those invisible ones, right?

You know, you don't have to flaunt who you're teaching. I could flaunt it much better than you ever could.

You really like italicising to make a point. :)

I do not!

You're just watching my every move and...

...oh, you're right.

Sure, Michael. Because the whole point was to show off how I've been tutoring mass amounts of people.

Do you honestly think that anyone cares what you do with your free time, Goldstein?

And I'm sure you just had to tell me that.

I think it was necessary. Why? Don't you think it was?

Actually, no I don't. Especially since your opinion isn't rating all that high for me, Nott.

I'm - you really think so? Oh, that's brilliant, because you looked a bit annoyed when I turned your book into a rat and it bit you. Good thing it was just that once. And I caught it eventually.

Anyway. Did I mention you have my eternal gratitude? I got a B on my last Transfiguration paper. I've never gotten higher than a D before!

And I didn't die, so points for that. Besides, you're getting better. And, er, not letting animals loose in the library.

How could you never - forget it. I'm glad you hear you got a B.

It would have been pretty bad if I'd turned your book into a rat with rabies, but, thankfully, diseases, even curable ones, were the furthest things from my mind at the time.

Long story. There's extra credit and a soul removal involved. It's all thanks to you, Anthony! I'd buy you something at Hogsmeade, but the whole reason you're tutoring me for free is because I'm broke.

Right. Thankfully.

It's fine, Megan. Really.

Woah. Lav's hand landed where, exactly? It sounds like she should be paying you a lot more for her tutoring lessons.

Somewhere it had absolutely no business being whatsoever. We'll definitely be changing the price.
