You wouldn't by any chance be willing to throw in a lesson or two as the weather gets warmer, would ya? :goes off to contemplate storage options and need vs want:

Also, congratulations on a good life! Sounds fabulous!

What motorcycle did you buy?

I picked up a 1985 500 cc Honda Shadow for $200. The owner even threw in a free chainsaw and an antique blowtorch. He was a hoot. Wow. Nothing like a semi-wet-brained 65 year old alcoholic in a bathrobe talking about stabbing people to make your ears really perk up.

But what a bike. He was the original owner, only 6750 miles. I haven't seem rims so clean out of a showroom, ever. Sure, it had a mouse living in the airbox, but I know how to take care of that.

I got lucky, Kathy. I'm a pretty happy guy. :)

Tempting, but I have no place to store it. Maybe when we build the Tardis Garden Shed.

"re-seasoned a poisoned wok"
You did what?

Erica is allergic to peanuts, and the previous wok was seasoned with peanut oil. The newly re-seasoned wok is done with sunflower seed oil.

Ah, I'm jealous. Yes, my spouse and cat are well, but the plumber is coming the day after Christmas to check out our (slightly) malfunctioning toilets, my front and back doors badly need replacing, our windows now leak cold air like sieves, and my driveway has needed re-surfacing for five years now....

Heck, my life's not so bad either. Especially if I get a raise this year. :-)
