I have a couple of very old collectible books I'd like to sell. There's not many, and at least one should go for $100+. Does anyone on my friends list know a good book seller that would take a percent fee for selling these books

There's a little specialty used book store on 4th, just south of the Food Co-op, in Ann Arbor. Depending on what you have, they will probably give you a much better deal than Bill at Dawn Treader will. Bill knows his books and likes his profits... So, yeah, don't sell at Dawn Treader. You may also want to try David's books on William, west of State.
Anyone know of a good place to sell realllly old medical books. Like 1868, 1890, big thick books owned by a doctor (my great grandfather). A friend who did civil war re-enactments told me there was quite a market for them and even looked a few up and found prices in the hundreds...but the one place she knew of is now out of business. I don't think ebay would really be the best for those.
It turns out the only one of real value (I believe) is the first edition hardcover of 1984 by George Orwell, minus dust jacket. A bit of research tells me it should sell for somewhere between $30-$200. Unfortunately, as I'm moving very soon and crazy with school, this may not happen.
Any interest in buying a used book or taking a commission on selling it?
