I guess I'll say I'm proud of you because I think that you know enough to make wise decisions in your own life. I wish you the best of luck. Just don't forget us back here :)

Hey my name is liz and I found your journal while browing for people with intrests in Paraguay. I went to Paraguay two years ago for three months(it was supposed to be a year but long story) with AFS which is an international student exchange organization, actually its the second largest non profit vouleenteer organization in the world! Anyway I went on a community service program and lived in San Lorenzo--just out side of Asuncion. I worked in a school for deaf kids and at a day care for really poor kids. I went back last summer to kick it with the host family and am returning again in December. Anyway so Hola y bienviendo a Paraguay! okay so I added you as a friend because I have an un quenchable thrist for anything Paraguayan!

I looked at the AFS website it sounds interesting. I also saw South Africa on your interests lists. Have you been there? Hopefully I will be able to keep my LJ updated occasionally while I am there.

no I havn't been to South Africa. I have been to Ghana for one month with AFS on the summer team mission, and am going on a six month program in a year to hopefully Ghana. South africa was a strong contender for first choice but I ended up choosing Ghana so we will see. Internet cafes in Paraguay are pretty easy to find if in Asuncion or that area and they are cheap but its finding the time... Do you know yet where in Paraguay where you will be?

Not exactly. I know that I'll be in a rural area between 2 and 12 hour by bus from the capitol. That's all that I've been told for now. I won't know exactly where in country I'll be until after I have been there for a while.
