I've known about this for a bit now, and I feel it will cause much of the same horror as lord of the rings. People gushing over Arwen's importance to the novels and how "Argon" is totally hot like omg. However, over time this dies down and it gives the long time fans a new medium to appreciate the work in, as well as introducing is to a new generation who were previously unaware of the genius of Kerouac. I'm nervous, but it is going to be ok.
