The obligatory holiday post will be combined with the obligatory 'I am out of town until after New Years, thus shall not be online' post. We departed on the 26th (missing all of the Day after X-mas sales, much to my chagrin) for Baton Rouge and actually made really good time getting to Maria's (Miranda's mom). Total score on the power inverter for your car, I have one and take my laptop on roadtrips all the time, and love it. Fortunately Carl's down with doing most of the driving, so I can read PDF's, do some writing, etc.... now all I need is an aircard, and then I could check email via I-75.... I just realized how much of a geek I am.
