Rereading Dune is quite the good time.  It's been more than a year since I've read it, and there are things that I'm catching now that I didn't think about before.  Perhaps that is because I read the entire series once through, perhaps it's because I've developed a better mind.  Who's to say?  One thing is for sure, though.  As much as the Sci-Fi ( Read more... )

Hmmm, I'm iffy when it comes to rereading books.
I prefer to read em once, and then log them to memory.
That way, I only remember the good parts.

Or something like that.

Hmmm. Hidden lines. Center lines.
I know those.

Phantom lines?
Enlighten me.

Phantom lines, lines used to show motion in an object that can move. Such as a machine part that will shift to a different position when a certain action is done on a machine. There are other uses, but I don't quite remember them, and as an arch. drafter, I have no use for such lines.
