I drove over to the YMCA to wish a friend good luck, they are going to Belgium for 4 months to cycle competitively. How awesome is that?
He's a really nice guy with a wicked 'never say die' attitude. For a long time he's held such awesome goals and constantly competing in so many events. It is amazing to see where he is headed.
The Mill Park Swim Club will be missing him! ^^~

Last Friday I swam a 1 hour session with Jennifer, completing a 2km training session. It was actually less than an hour because the pool was swamped with school kids from my high school (OMG, it made me feel so old!). I got out of the pool early to avoid them. ^^;
I hope to go again, this Friday. Going swimming reminded me how much I missed the water. Did you know? When I quit swimming, I didn't like watching Jennifer compete because I couldn't stand going near the water without being IN it. >_>;
I would really like to go to MSAC for a swim. I really like the water there. Much cleaner and cooler than the local swimming pool. I would love to go there for a 3-4km swimming session.
Right now just swimming 2km makes me ache a bit. I really need to work on my speed and endurance. ^^;;
Fighting!
