Every so often it's good to let yourself be overwhelmed by the world, although it can leave you staring slack-jawed out of a window with a vague, stunned smile....at least that's what happens to me. Also I encourage following butterflies, since they never stop being neat.
If you constantly were completely aware of the vast awesome intricate chaotic life/planet/universe, you would not be able to function. be thankful that you can focus down to the everyday interface.
I like those moments though they give the usually huge seeming personal issues I am obsessing over a little perspective.
hells no, I'm happy to have you on my friends list :DthatmikeguyJune 20 2004, 23:35:06 UTC
I'm one of those, "if it were private, I probably wouldn't post it on the internet" people ;)
seriously... if I'd have known you were on here I would already have added you :D
where did you get a picture of you kissing a lizard?? Isn't that a kimono dragon? you're having fun with photoshop aren't you ;)
and yeah, that's sometimes my reaction to having those moments. I've continued to have them regularly recently as well. it's good to appreciate the world without all the preconceptions.

You know, I've been on here for a while... and it's actually all your fault. Not really. Well, sort of.
I'm one of those, "if it were private, I probably wouldn't post it on the internet" people ;) Me too... which sometimes leads to interesting situations, but I still like it.
The lizard is a bronze one in Amsterdam. No Photoshoping fun except for the resize. It looks real, though, so it's all worth it!
...I'm in bed so not sure if Roomie is still up. I actually haven't seen her since before you called. I'm sure she'll get it, though. g'night.

On a different note, do you ever become amazed at how small this little LJ world is? I do. ;) I hope you don't mind that I found you.
Let me know if you want to keep your privacy... my feelings won't be hurt.
