*edit - I didn't like the phrasing, so I changed "I'm not a visual artist" to "I'm not an effective visual artist... effective meaning achieving what I think art should achieve." and removed musician from the equation, since I came to the conclusion later that I felt like I was playing music for the direct emotional connection.

And then I drank a LOT of vodka and tequila. No really. We're supposed to go wine tasting in the morning, but I've had to correct my spelling like 80 times in this sentence. At least I can still get it right eventually!!!

p.s. I 'pegged' my pants tonight to go 80's dancing. That was an ethical sacrifice.

I'm going to make a sincere effort to at least comment in people's journals, if not actually update mine. I miss all you fancy people and I'm kind of a jackass about staying in touch.

I would get up at 6:30 every morning, conditioned to wake to my watch alarm. When I had first gotten into town, I couldn't find a department store to buy an alarm clock... the store names were all unfamiliar.
