“i wonder if that thing can be filled up,” donghae wonders aloud as he watches the puddles get bigger from a window across the street.
there is a small park fenced between a row of houses and an auto-shop. in the middle of the park is a playground with a single slide in a box full of woodchips and a pair of swings right next to it. in the far left corner are sprinklers built into the ground and a big candy cane-shaped hose that shower downs heavily. these are useless for now since it’s raining; the mini-water park only turned on for the hot summers.
on the right side of the park is a cement field a metre into the ground. the far end is a brick wall, the back of the auto-shop. there is a white drawn net in the middle, two metres wide and a child’s reach high. above the net are the words KOREA FIGHTING! and JAEMIN WAS HERE~. the floor of the field is lopsided, gradually rising to the right. rain water slowly pools on the entire left side.
“i wonder if that thing can be filled up,” donghae wonders aloud as he watches the puddles get bigger from a window across the street.
“what?” kibum murmurs lazily from the bed.
“that cement soccer field thing at the park. i wonder if it could be filled up like a pool. imagine it,” and donghae starts laughing. he stumbles his way to the bed and collapses on kibum. he grins at kibum. “we could swim in it and everything.”
kibum just smiles back at donghae. he wraps his arms around donghae and says, “i’m cold.”
“you’re always cold,” donghae replies.
“then warm me up.” kibum wiggles his eyebrows and donghae laughs again. he leaves a kiss on kibum’s chest, then tangles his naked legs with kibum’s.
“better?”
kibum ruffles donghae’s hair, then kisses the top of his head. “better.”
