i just have a lot of krishan feelings i think and ugh angst. that line. that line gdi
he almost tells yifan he loves him, except luhan doesn't want to lie
it is so simple, but it says SO MUCH. i feel sadistic because of how much i love it tbh. i hope yifan is irrevocably in love with luhan and it consumes him how much he wants luhan close, but it's also brutal because luhan doesn't feel the same way, but they're still together and it's messed up and twisted and i am an awful person oops

ohh canon verse krishanlay yes please. i can see this actually, yifan and luhan falling into this kind of a thing out of convenience and it's so easy because they're comfortable with it (initially) and the physical attraction is very much there. I love how that quote situates within that context, because it's kind in a twisted sort of way; like luhan doesn't want to lie to yifan, but it still sucks at the end of the day since luhan doesn't love him back that way.

ugh luhan man, so hard and fun to figure out and write because there are so many options!!! like, here he could either: be not in love with kris YET; not ever want to be in love with kris b/c he wants kris as his friend-soon-best-friend and you don't fuck your best friends!; use lay as an excuse somehow??? like he doesn't want what kris and him have to come between their friendships with lay, b/c they're LAY's best friend, not each other's, so lay comes first. and kris could be like "...but... you're my best friend too...." and luhan's like "............." (((what do i do))); OR idk so many options ( ... )

ugh luhan is such a good person to write about, even though it's hard getting him down, because it could really could any way. he could be gentle and sweet and loving, or playful and adorable, but it's not that hard to think of him with a darker streak either and ugh all the fic please ( ... )

ugh luhan is just full of paradoxes, so much to explore. there's that mystery of ~who he really is~, more so than most of the others imo (probably b/c i'm biased lol)
