Okay, I find it absolutely ridiculous and outrageous when customers attack employees at stores for no reason. I've worked in the food industry, a popular retail chain, and a big electronics store, and I can say that I have seen dumb shit in my experience at these places. I'm not the kind of bad attitude employee that doesn't try to help people, but

I used to work customer service for Wal-mart. This is the place where I lost my innocence. There's this moment in life where you finally realize that most people are a-holes! After Wal-mart I worked at a cable company. It was over the phone. I took 100 calls a day and I swear at least 90 of them were people griping at me. If I thought the people at Wal-mart were bad...I hadn't seen anything yet. People are a lot more ballsy when they're not face to face.

The last customer service call I ever took:

Customer: Take all these charges for porn off my account! I don't watch this stuff and neither does my husband or my 14 year old son. I will not pay this $150.00 dollar charge.

Me: I'm sorry ma'am but these movies cannot be ordered by mistake. You have to put in the code.

Customer: I want a manager! Whaa!

I will never ever work in customer service ever again.
