I saw Indiana Jones. (SPOILERS)

LOL, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas. That was a good try.

The most tragic thing is that I have so many friends who have never seen an Indiana Jones movie, but still intend to see this one. Before this, I might have had a shot at convincing them to see the originals. Now all hope is pretty much lost.

Is it not good for a Spielberg? I've had many friends fighting for tickets..

It tasted like fanfiction. I think it's the kind of thing that people will like depending on how nostalgic it makes them feel. For me it didn't make the cut, but some people really seem to like it. *shrug*

(Also I remembered Lucas is partially responsible, so his name is now present.)

Also, who is this? Do I know you from somewhere or are you visiting randomly?

And seemingly so, I havent seen a single Indiana Jones movie yet.
So I presume I should go for another one first before I venture out for this?

PS- This is someone random, yes. Found you on search. But yes, looking for friends, especially someone who can help me get initiated into lj.

I just...

I dunno...

It made me sad. And not because I had any expectations...because Indiana Jones told me that I can't be an archaeologist
*pout*

You didn't know that archaeologists drive motorcycles through libraries, not study in them? o_o

On of my main thoughts while watching was "Holy moly, Lierin is watching this tomorrow and already I feel her pain." Such paaaain....

To ice the cake... was Harrison Ford part of the letdown or was it just the storyline? I loves me some Harrison Ford! To know he failed somewhere would be like knowing Russel Crowe hit someone with a phone again.

I thought Harrison was pretty good. If anyone was trying his best to make the movie line up with the originals, it was him.

I so totally agree with you. I.J - Crystal skull don't exist to me or rather it is as you said a bad fanfiction. My reaction firts was: 'oh this is good, myths and mysteriums and all that stuff that makes Indiana Jones something worthwhile.'
And then they just had to drag aliens in to the mix and that's where my inner female Indiana Jones ran for the hills to never return. If they skipped the aliens it would have been a decent movie.
