I'm starting to think that insurance companies started the whole "lawyers are evil" meme, and coined the phrase "ambulance chasers." I've known more than one person not jump on the insurance company when they should have, because of those memes.

When go to plow training for MNDOT the first thing you are told is that you will be hit. It's not if it's when. You will most likely being driving the larger vehicle and can do serious damage to the other vehicle. If you can't accept this, you shouldn't be here. People take driving for granted, when it's actually a sophiticated task that takes many decisions and much attention. It's easy to make a mistake. I really glad you're all OK and wish you the best of luck dealing w/ the insurance company.
