You know, there's been a lot of craziness on these pages lately, and the primary byproduct I've been noticing is that the Aesopeans have been placed up on some sort of pedestal as the 'best' Tale group.
Now, I don't want to stir anything up - the Aesopeans are a perfectly boring nice group of Tales. Some of my best friends are Aesopeans, I swear! However, I think that everyone is sort of overlooking a rather vital contender for this category: the Arabics!
We've got action, we've got adventure, we've got romance and intrigue and extraordinary happenings! Not to mention we're a good deal less preachy then a collection of brief bedtime parables. If there's any reason we're beat out by the local zoo crew for sleepytime stories, it's because our Tales would provide for dreams far too exciting, if one were still able to get to sleep at all!
Plus, one can scarcely deny that we have the hottest Librarian, bar none. I challenge anyone to argue this!
