Knight of the Wind

You know, I was always under the impression the motto here was something similar to Vincit Qui Se Vincit. He who conquers, conquers himself (and also the only Latin words Sonic knows from his classes).

Look, we might be a fighting school, but even I've never left Eggy near death, as much as he'd love to do it to me. I never bothered him for being ( Read more... )

Aparoid War's a pretty good example, kid.

Lots of... hardship there that we went through together. Somethin' like that. I guess. [Hey, he can't be entirely poetical or philosophical. That's just not how he rolls.]

If anything, it made me realize that there's hope for everyone. Even Eggy. Then again, I'm the one who keeps trusting him when he says he's turned a new leaf.

But you know what, maybe I should try turning human a bit more often so I can appreciate the form. Can't say I like the way your legs work, they make running a pain.

Maybe. I ain't that sure about that Eggman, but everyone else, maybe. Maybe even Char.

Sounds like a good idea, but... Hey, human legs can be pretty good for runnin'. It's just a matter of how you train 'em. [Goose, you're talking to a hedgehog that can run at the speed of sound, if not faster.]

That's really well said. The Aparoid War... it was more than just us. it was the whole world coming together and uniting their prayers. Just like it was with the real Giygas.

I don't really like talking about the war. But you're right. I fought to protect everyone, Human, Pokemon, Everyone. And sometimes I had at my back people I don't get along with so well and we STILL put our differences aside to take care of one another.

Not saying that the war was anything good. It wasn't at all. But it really does give you some perspective when you think about it like that.

Thanks, man.
