Gil... doesn't like Break. But he doesn't not like him either. It's complicated and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. He knows that Break is only using him and he's fine with that - he knows Break is a bastard and while he's annoyed by his attitude, he had ten years to accepts it since that's how Break is. If Oz is Gil's most important person, then Break and Sharon are his... sorta important people? They are important constants in his life that he has gotten used to but Gil won't be concerned about Break since, well, he's Break.
As for Break's topping... Gil haets him for his topping. He knows Break likes making fun of him but he can't do anything about it, and that... really frustrates him. And because Gil's so reactive and defensive, Break's blunt comments sometimes do really hurt him, and Gil reacts negatively in return. The thing is, Gil doesn't trust Break with most if not all things, but deep, deep down inside, he... does. But Gil doesn't understand Break, and like hell is Break going to let Gil understand him.

Gil recognizes that Ari is Oz's friend and that Oz likes him! And Ari's been pretty helpful with information and friendly, so on Gil's list he's on the "not dangerous and good for information" section... something like that. There isn't any personal feelings yet though, apart from seeing Ari as a helpful and caring kid. Overall... Ari is a good kid. Y-Yeah.
Nia... made him think. There's this whole mess with Gil refusing to really acknowledge the "we're friends!" thing with Oz, especially after the time skip. That's why Nia's rather casual observation made him paused and sort of forced him into the conversation with Oz about being friends. Nia didn't push and was polite about it! Buuut there isn't much apart from a vague impression that this is the girl who pointed out the whole "you can be friends with Oz!" thing.

Even if some of the things he said were of interest to Gil, he just... kept talking and talking and just. What. Nothing too deep here!
