I get an email feed from Lyved.com. It has tips and lists (I love lists!) of different things that are helpful or positive for just dealing with people and the economy or whatever. Its kinda neat most of the time and other people had mentioned it to me so I figured, what the hell

I'm kinda curious how they color them. I wonder what color I'd like to be.

A couple years ago, my family was visiting my aunt in Austin.
Out of nowhere, my brother said something like, "that's a nice vase, Aunt Barb"
My aunt replied, "that's your grandmother!"
I almost fell over.

She was IN the vase or she IS the vase? :) I am always a little weirded out by people who keep an urn of ashes in their home. I'm 100% in favor of cremation but I think keeping the ashes is odd. But, you know, to each his/her own. :D

I believe she was in the vase. I didn't investigate very closely, however.

That place is freakin' creepy as heck and smells horrible. You don't want to be there.

I love the mausoleum. It is weird but fascinating to me. I've never noticed a smell, other than "old building" but it does seem to be rotting into the hillside and not very well-maintained. I mean, you have to figure, there are THOUSANDS of people living there, and they don't pay rent anymore. ;) From what I hear, its no longer open to the public. These pics were taken about a year ago when I took Tim there.
