Well, it's about a month now that I've been here and I suppose I am acclimating myself. I look around and I can't help thinking how fascinated Lincoln would be with this place, he'd probably have Amelia running around gathering every last bit of this and that he could get his hands on.
I remember once Sellitto mentioned how Lincoln used to spend hours walking around New York, just collecting things like a Magpie fascinating with shiny items that he could later glen information from. I'd like to think I've tried to do that but I know I've fallen back on what reminds me of home.
Work in a hospital where the injuries are never without an interesting story, I mean really pets suddenly going on the attack??
A vampire who reminds me of my boss, save for the fact that I was never remotely attracted to Lincoln. Eric on the other hand, no doubt he enjoys getting me to dance like a puppet in that respect. Hell, Lincoln would probably find that amusing. Perverse bastards, the pair of them.
And cooking a wide range of foods, more food than just one person needs. I always end up taking the extra down to the hospital, what I can't give away to friends. Funny, how I have a wide variety of skills and yet I can't seem to master cooking for one.
I wonder ... well, I wonder if people every get used to the loneliness around here. It seems many of the folks I've met all have friends from their own worlds ... and there's a sentence I never expected to type. I think I'd better stop, I'm getting maudlin.
I've made too much
Beef Stroganoff anyone interested in leftovers?
Eric are you still sulking or have you adjusted to your situation?
Private to Tony Foster:
