What do you do? You don't have to be specific about where you work, just what it involves. How did you get into it? Is this what you always wanted to do? How could it be better for you? My curriculum vitae is like a circus. I have always loved writing, but I never really thought about it as a career. When I was seven, before I was old enough to say what it was I wanted to do with my life, I was discovered and began modeling. That went well, and I continued to model around the world long for many years, though I never really thought of it as much of a career--and to be honest, I don't really like it. It's so boring and uninspiring!

Sometime during my teens, though, I had decided I wanted to be a journalist, so I went to school for that. Now, I'm a columnist for one of the local papers. It's a little Carrie Bradshaw, only it could be better. The money is not as fabulous--the episode of Sex and the City in which she is talking about making $4 per word? Yeah, that's not me. But the money is irrelevant. All that matters to me is that it's fun and that I get the chance to write about what I want. Of course, I see myself writing columns and features in three, five, ten years ( ... )
