Just discovered the beauty of "Children of Eden." Stephen Schwartz just continues to amaze me with his musical genius.

Several listenings later... Well, perhaps "genius" is too strong a word. The score has its problems with too many synthesizers and odd lyrics, but it is still a very strong score.

Okay, today went kinda wierd. DRob finally got the Jazz All-State results back and whadda ya know: I ended up scoring 13 points lower than last year (14 points lower than Nick Allen) and got into the regular Jazz All-State choir when I was the top of the Honors choir last year. OMG! Did anyone just see the introduction to the Red Sox/Yankees game? It was hilarious! It took the old Star Wars analogy and turned it into a 3 minute film montage, detailing the growth of the Evil Empire and the Jedi resistance. It was priceless! If you guys did miss it, do a search for it online, I'm sure someone is going to have it.

...well, nothing, but this is (as far as I can remember) the only thing I've ever won first place for in my life!

Okay, it's kinda dumb, and I didn't win anything meaningful for it, but the fact that any writing of mine could win anything is cool.
