The island had done it again. Whether it was pure chance or benevolence none of them would ever know, but somehow, someway, the place had seen fit to give them all booze again

She moved twirling barefooted to music that only she could hear. Smiling, she shrugged off the white jacket leaving her only in the dress. Dropping a set of beads around someones neck she smiled and slid past into the kitchen. People were celebrating, people were happy and the music and the alcohol made her feel good. Her family were gone, torn from her but she was here and they were happy. And Del could be happy with them.
Looking for Robb, Del pressed against bodies as she removed the mask and dropped that into a large cup of something. She'd have a drink and she would find him and dance with him and she would be happy, happy for a little while.
Robb is just getting a drink and trying to stay a bit out of the way of the press of people. Reynald has long since run off to play with his cousins, though Robb figures he should probably collect him and take him home fairly soon.
Del pouted sitting on the back of the couch as she gave up trying to find him. Starks were very impossible to find. She had tried searching for her Winter in the Spring but she could not see him anywhere. Kicking her barefeet back and forth Del looked up and spotted him stood alone. Smiling, Del threw herself off the chair and squeezed between and climbed over people until she was stood in front of him.
"Hello Robb Stark," Del said placing her hands against her chest to steady herself as she looked up at him with a happy smile on her face.
It's pretty hard not to be a bit happy that somebody's that glad to see you. And it's really hard not to be happy that she doesn't look so broken anymore. "Hello there."
"I found you," Del said smiling happy. Her fingers pressed against his stomach, tracing down as she dropped back onto her feet to steady herself. "I couldn't find you and then poof there you were. Heee. I thought I would have to find you at home and show you the dress if you weren't here. Do you like it?"
Robb has been married, and had a very fashion-conscious sister; he is fairly acquainted with the etiquette of dresses. "I've been here a while," he protests, but leans back a little to get a better look. "I do. It's a very lovely dress."
"I got... there were fishies in a bowl so I went and said hi to them and then I lost my jacket but I found you instead. I would much rather have a Robb Stark keeping me warm than a jacket." Del said rambling away quite happily. Her fingers moving back and forth across his stomach absentmindedly as she talked. "I wore it for you so we can dance. It swishes."
"No I don't want to dance. I do want to dance with you though," Del said threading her fingers through his and taking a step closer to him. He smelled like the winter, strong and warm and calming. Del looked up at him and touched his face gently. "I wore it so you could take it off." Del looked thoughtful before grinning. "Dancing. Are you going to twirl me?"
She shifted her weight against her back foot, slipping her fingers through his so she could take his arm. Pressing her fingertips up his arm, she leaned into his side briefly before she let him lead her into a dance. People were happy, it was almost like her realm with the chaos and the laughter. She felt like she was home here and with Robb Stark.
"And kissing. Kissing should be a requirement of this dress," Del said cheeks flushing as she bit her lip and smiled up at him.
Robb knows what she wants (he is, after all, neither blind or stupid) but is not yet sure how close he can get to giving it to her; still, it's awfully hard to resist someone looking at you like that.
"You look happy," he says, kissing her forehead--it's not a deflection, either, but a real observation; she looks more like herself than she has the last few times he's seen her.
She leaned into the kiss, closing her eyes at the feel of his warm lips against her forehead. It was not the kiss that she wanted but it still made her feel warmth and joy in her heart.
"I am when I am with you," Del replied, twirling beneath Robb's arm before moving back close to him. "When I was younger they would throw me parties and I was very happy then. This feels like that, it makes me feel like home. The noise and the chaos and the joy. It's hard to be sad when such lovely things and people are around you."
"It is overwhelming but then it wouldn't be as fun if we didn't feel lost for a moment but then you find calm. The calm in the storm," Del said smiling. At the heart of her realm there was a quiet, still calm surrounded by chaos and she rarely let anyone trespass there. Her brother had just the once but never again. She reserved that place for those she loved. "And if you feel overwhelmed you can come to me and then we'll make it all... peachy keen."
