After a few hours of pacing to and fro in her hut, of heading over to Mitchell's place to share a pie and some private time together, Sookie had started to realize that keeping her mind off of Council elections was a pretty difficult task indeed. The closest that she'd come to regularly keeping her mind elsewhere was by munching on plenty of pastries, and after belatedly realizing that doing so probably wasn't too great for her waistline, she'd taken to coffee instead, downing cup after cup of it straight black until she practically bounced off the walls and couldn't focus on anything, much less elections.
But a side effect of being so wired was a tendency to grab onto the sleeve of anyone she adored as she passed by them, and Jason was no exception. The blonde practically leaped over to Jason and hugged him from behind, her voice about half an octave too high as she smiled.
"Holy shit, Sook, you gotta stop the crystal meth," Jason said before he could stop himself, and then he choked on his mango slice because he wasn't exactly prepared for balancing the both of them.
"Aughghgh."
This was it. Dead by the hand of his own hyperactive sister. Jason hadn't seen it ending like this.
She was just about to berate him for the comment- because really, who accused their little sister of being on crystal meth just because they were a little hyperactive- when Jason began to choke on his mango. Sookie's eyes flying wide open, she pat his back heavily, wrapping her arms around her brother's torso and trying to dislodge the fruit as well as possible.
"Ugh, Jason, this is why I keep on tellin' you that you gotta learn to chew," she sighed in exasperation. "And for the record, I'm not on crystal meth! I don't even think anyone here's got crystal meth."

"Jason! Hi!"
