Game 40, Round 4 Lines

Jul 27, 2010 21:28

Asking nicely, it appears, has the desired effect. We now have a suitable quantity of lines for this round. And here they are...

1. "Fancy having your lead turned into gold, sweetheart?"
2. In retrospect being rudely awoken by a bucket of water could have been far worse considering the lady behind the bucket and her past history with the sleeper.
3. It had rained, furiously, for all of the six days leading up to St. Dunstan's Day.
4. It never failed to amaze those who knew the depths of the man's patriotism that Rupert Triumff should be capable of doing such appalling violence to the national anthem.
5. It was becoming quite clear that the Antipodes were rather less exciting and rather more hot than Sir Rupert Triumff had been led to believe.
6. "Pigeons! Plump purebred pigeons!"
7. Sir Rupert Triumff swung over the edge of the balcony, pausing only to blow a kiss at the young lady in the bed who blinked uncertainly in the early morning light.
8. Triumff swayed sideways and drunkenly frowned at the large bearded man who had just attempted to skewer him.
