And here are the lines for Round Five...
1. At first sight Marsham, population 640, always brought to mind all the adjectives the inhabitants hated, "quaint" and "picturesque" being the foremost culprits.
2. Caroline caught the sharp smell of cordite as she shot the man three times in the chest.
3. Caroline drove out of Marsham revelling in the glares of her neighbours.
4. "Excuse me."
5. Marsham was tiny; smaller than anywhere Caroline had lived before, but very pretty.
6. The curtain dropped for the intermission as the last notes of Wagner echoed through the auditorium.
7. To judge by the television, there is something about the countryside that attracts murder.
8. When Caroline came in from the garden, she was pleased to find that Mrs. Hogbin had gone upstairs to do the bathrooms.
