Game 5, Book 2 Voting

Wow, great lines everyone! Here they are, with the real one imbedded somewhere:

1. The residents of Savannah take pride in the city's quiet, Georgian squares and genteel, tree-lined streets, reminders that the city's roots are as much of the Colonial period as they are part of the Old South.

2. Declaring the day humid, as the WSAV news stated, seemed a vast understatement when entering the sweltering stickiness of the blood-soaked bedroom.

3. He was tall, about fifty, with darkly handsome, almost sinister features: a neatly trimmed mustache, hair turning silver at the temples, and eyes so black they were like the tinted windows of a limousine - he could see out, but you couldn't see in.

4. I had never planned on living in Savannah.

5. When Ben strolled down the avenue, women gazed with lust in their hearts.

6. There never was an apple sweeter than one stolen off a neighbor's tree.

7. The monuments and cenotaphs watched silently as a shadowy figure moved through the midnight graveyard.

8. To describe Savannah, GA as odd would be to do it injustice, for it is primarily, gloriously itself.

9. The salt smell of the sea was hanging heavy in the air this fine Southern morning.

10. Twilight had never been a particularly nebulous concept in the dry, dusty world of Savannah, Georgia.

Now, on to the voting.
