And the lines are

Jun 27, 2008 19:12

After a rather fraught hour or so I am back and sane once more so the lines can go up just an hour late.
Your options are:

1 Thomas of Hookton killed his first Frenchman at the age of thirteen, regretting only that his father could not be there to see it.

2 Many folk, if told the true nature of the golden cup in the nave of Hookton's small church, would scoff.

3 A grey mist hung in the morning air with damp tendrils that soaked through clothes and chilled the skin.

4 Thomas leaned over the ship's rail and wondered, again, why he'd wanted to join this army.

5 The March winds were bitter.

6 The treasure of Hookton was stolen on Easter morning 1342.

7 It was raining.

8 Thomas of Hookton looked out over the roiling sea and thought, for the thousandth time, about the chore that lay ahead.

9 Dover teemed and bustled with men unfamiliar with the sights and sounds of a busy port.

You pays yer money and you takes yer choice.
