[ Some of you have heard his voice. A lot of you have probably heard his laughter. Even more of you have probably noticed that as of this morning, everything in the hospital has been turned upside down.

That laughter is making a return, this time in its truest form. ]

Ahahahahahahahaha!

The wise and generous Coyote has finally made his ( Read more... )

[Waking up to find everything suddenly upside-down was not what Anders had expected when he finally fell asleep the night before, which is probably pretty obvious when he gets around to glaring at the thing pretending to be a dog in the little image. He bets it's a demon of some sort.]

Andraste's great flaming knickers! Did you turn everything in here on its head? Don't you have anything better to do with your time?

[ A coyote, to be specific. There's something like insanity in his eyes, but not quite. ]

What better way to spend my time than on such a fantastic joke?

I don't know, how about something that doesn't involve potentially ruining all the things we may need to heal people here?

[He's too grumpy with all of this to admit aloud that for all the frustration, it does look like nothing was significantly broken.]

So what kind of demon are you then?

Demons are childish and bent on destruction. No, my powers are much greater! And I'll have you know nothing was broken! Nothing at all! Ahahaha!

I wouldn't say childish, but they do all seem to enjoy destroying things. And you'll have to excuse me for not believing you that nothing's broken until I've checked it all. I don't make a habit of believing possessed animals.

Possessed? No, no, not possessed! This is my true form!

[ He stretches his body, bending around to look back at the screen as though this is absolute truth. ]

I haven't tried possessing the creatures here! I really should try that next.

[He's never seen a demon take a form like that, but in the Fade it isn't too uncommon for them to take the forms of less threatening things so that they can trick mages into making deals, if the veil is thinner on this island, that could explain it.]

I'd rather you didn't go around trying to possess the innocent animals here. Besides, if your true form can do all that, why would you want to possess another anyway?

For fun! Ahahaha! They don't mind it, it's an honor to be possessed by the Coyote!

And I'm not so sure they'd agree it was a great honour to be possessed with no say in the matter. Not many people enjoy that sort of thing.

I ask first. They are the creatures of my forest! They deserve the same respect as the trees, and the grass, and the rocks and the sky!

You... respect the creatures here? Really?

[He's not sure how much he believes that, since demons lie, but it's an odd lie even for a demon.]

I wouldn't expect a human to understand.

And I wouldn't expect a demon to know anything about respecting anything other than their own powers.

How rude! I'm no demon, you impetuous mage.

Of course, how silly of me! You're clearly a good spirit that just overturns most of a building for their own amusement.

You don't see anything outside of your own experience. How boring.
