OK, so, enticed by your comments on the were Esca fic I've just seen the first ep of Generation Kill.
Could somebody put me out of my military porn induced misery and write a piece of soldier boys PWP with Marcus screwing Esca in full Marine combat gear?

This was a wonderful piece - you managed to fit so much in, in so few words.

The tension was almost palpable throughout - Marcus so keyed up after his combat and then the encounter with Esca. I loved the way Esca had been worming himself into Marcus' affections unobtrusively by entertaining him and being there for him.

The encounter, when it finally came, was so hot. I love how despite being so needy and desperate, Marcus still took time to kiss Esca's neck, and how Esca couldn't keep quiet until Marcus clamped a hand over his mouth - brilliant!

Thank you for the lovely comment! I always struggle with providing descriptions/background and so I really enjoy these short pwp bits where I don't really have to. But I'm glad you felt the set-up was still good. :D

And he had listened quietly on that one cold night when they were lying side by side in the dirt, Marcus’s gun a black barrier between them, when Marcus had talked, given voice to some of the things that ate away at him. The next morning, Esca’s smile had been exactly the same.

This part just kills me with how wonderful and sweet and heartbreaking it is. The whole piece is amazing: the sex is so hot, and then the end is so sweet. Love it!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked that bit--it's always a little hard to provide just the right amount of background details before rushing on to the porn. And yeah, I can't avoid the fluff. :)

Loooove their characterisations. I can totally picture Esca as the liberal hippie running around in the midst of danger, all happy-go-lucky journalist.

And Marcus as the repressed Marine? YES PLEASE.

And the ENDING!!!!!!!!!! \o/ Oh, Marcus!!! I have said before and I will say agian, I love me some shy!Marcus. He's built for bashfulness :D

Thank you! I think it was because I had just read the prompt for Marcus putting his hand over Esca's mouth, and so it was in my mind. Or it might have been there all along. :D

Fucking hell, that was hot. I didn't expect that Marcus covering Esca's mouth would be something I'd end up wanting more of, but that's what ended up happening. Wow.
